Ask yourself these four questions: How often should I clean my bike? How often is it maintained? How often should I clean my riding kit? How often is it maintained?

Our guess is that the time frames vary massively. Yet you rely on your kit every time you ride your bike. Your kit has to be in the best possible condition especially if you are involved in an accident. Think of all the ‘crud’ that accumulates on your bike as you ride. As the rider, that ‘crud’ does not miraculously miss you. All the bits of oils, fuels, manures, salt etc., thrown at you from the road and the atmosphere sit on your kit and attack the fibres and stitching of both leathers and textiles, making them much weaker.

Then think of the inside of your kit. As human beings we all sweat, in some areas more than others. How many times do you wear your underwear or a t-shirt before it is washed? Motorcycle kit, leathers especially are worn very close to your body. All the sweat, deodorants, anti-perspirants, perfumes etc. are secreted into your riding kit which again attack the fibres and makes them weaker.

In addition, leather ‘dries out’ of its own accord over time. Simply conditioning leather, without careful cleaning, locks in all that ‘crud’ on the surfaces attacking the leather and stitching even faster! Our multi-stage cleaning process removes detritus from the outside, and bacteria from the inside prior to us conditioning, feeding and protecting the leather. As motorcyclists ourselves we appreciate the investment that you have in your own motorcycle kit, and how attached we get to something that is ‘just right’.

Revive our cleaning, maintenance and restoration services will maintain your kit, whether leather or textile, in the very best possible condition. Regular cleaning and maintenance can extend the life of your much loved riding kit. All our processes are completed entirely by hand. If you are still unsure whether you need our services, ask a loved one or a friend for an honest opinion on the ‘aroma’ and the appearance of your kit!

Don’t be upset by the answer. Just book it in with Scrubbers Revive service.
